Our new ‘Air’™ self service with multi touch screen means you have everything you need at your fingertips.  A new concept in self service, the modern styling and air flow between the unit attracted so much attention at the recent RFID conference, that we couldn’t keep it under wraps any longer.

The screen read  software reads NFC phones and RFID labels and eveything is accommodated within the slimline screen. The standard 26″ screen, (can be 42″ DDA compliant) with sound and video, responds instantly and lets you access information quickly.   Receipts can be sent by email or SMS.

If that’s not enough ‘AIR’™ extends service delivery to include payment of council services e.g. taxes, rent and many others.

A truly versatile, innovation that will integrate into and can be designed around existing furnishings.   It’s so new that we would be happy to tell you about more about it.

RFIQ Technology

RFIQ is a new, no software technology, designed and developed by D-Tech.  The system delivers perimeter based protection and improved alarm handling capability and provides a migrateable path to RFID when budgets allow.

Combined with our new M180 antenna which itself is very cost effective, the RFIQ system, with labels and staff pad, costs less than the EM systems currently available.  Ongoing costs are less and the system can be upgraded to RFID at a later stage allowing reading of items with the wand for stock taking and searching.  This is an ideal package for schools and colleges, with very high detection and NO false alarms and antenna that can space over 1.6m.

24 Hour Vending

The book vending machine is a new development in self-service for libraries adding value for library visitors and also increasing borrowing and services. The vending machines come in different sizes to allow for each solution that is required.

200 / 400 / 600 / 800 / 1000 items can be stored.

Data and images of the items are displayed on the user friendly touch screen display. Users can search for items by Title, Media Type (book, dvd, cd) Author or subject.  The items are dispensed to the user without boxes and can be returned to the same or different machines. Reservations can also be placed in the vending machines ready for collection by the users 24/7. Easily loaded by staff, this new concept will allow your library to improve its service and to be open 24/7 with a very low costs
